Tom's in quite a predicament. And he gets to leave for a doctor's appointment which means I'm alone in the office. At least until Linda gets back and then I get to leave at 1:15. Yay! But I have to go to the dentist. Boo!

I saw my friend Abby today as I was booking it to the joke that is the Graduate Exam. She's getting married on January 7th! Yay Abby! *bouncybouncy* We chatted for a bit then she went on to her class and I ran off to Warf-Pickle for the Graduate Exam.

Boy what a joke. 40 minutes, 36 questions, piece of cake.

I also went to the 8 a.m. Spanish class instead of my normal 9:40 class due to having scheduling conflicts with that dinky test. OH. MY. GOODNESS. What a difference in the teacher. She's helpful and the class doesn't waste half of the time asking the same questions over and over. Plus it's a smaller class which is much more on level with my ideal learning situation. So I think I'm going to give the 9:45 class one more chance and if they still suck wang as much as they have been, I'm going to ask if I can switch. Seriously, even Ms. Sanchez-Webb was 100% different. And maybe I'll actually learn something cause yesterday I ended up spending the 45 minutes of redundant question answering time on the workbook stuff (without realizing part of it was homework) and got through nearly all of the first part of chapter 10.

Ooo, only about 25 minutes left for me. Yay! I took a huge chunk of my marble cake for mis padres. Nummy nummy! I'm happy it turned out well. I found a nifty recipe for Red Velvet cake that calls for almost a half cup of red food coloring so I might have to try that one out. The only thing I'm wondering about is the fact that the cream cheese icing calls for coconut and pecans. I've had pecans in the icing before (I'm not that fond of it really) but I don't believe I've ever seen coconut. There's also a quarter cup of cocoa powder. *shrugs* I've used this before as well but not with that quantity. Suggestions or opinions? I think this will be my next baking experiment.

Well, I'm off to get the desk straightened up before I leave.
